Bicycle cost tax deductable ? |
I use tax for work. Can I deduce spare parts, maintenance ? If you use the bike as part of your work (other than riding to and from work), or you use it to go from one workplace to another, then yes, you can deduct maintenance, but not spare parts until they are used. You could also deduct the purchase of the bike if it was purchased in the same accounting period. |

As long as there is no corrosion and pitting in the races, I would say it's fine to regrease and use again. Or you could replace the bearings as well for peace of mind.
