A gov official suggested that the Pequots be paid the value of the land in 1856. ($8091.17) plus interest. Find the interest rate compounded continuously , requested by the Pequots.

a) find the breathing rate at 12mi/hr.
b) suppose the cyclist in part a wants to double the breathing rate. how fast does the cyclist have to ride.

ln (900,000) = ln 8091.17 *r*127

13.71015 = 8.9985 * 127 * r

13.71015 = 1142.8131 * r

r= 13.71015 / 1142.8131
