Which bike shorld i buy a trek or scott? |
i have to shop after shop and brand after brand... finally i come down to two bikes that is the trek 1.5 & Scott Spendster S20? I like the higher-grade all-Shimano 105 drivetrain components on the Scott S20. The Trek uses a mix of Sora and Tiagra stuff. That's basically the biggest difference between the two bikes, since everything else between the two bikes are comparable (aluminum frame with carbon forks). If they are both the same price and about the same quality...then it comes down to personal issues like colors, comfort, and other personal rider preferences. Maybe test ride them again. While the 1.5 has a great frame, I think it uses Sora shifters which aren't that durable so ive heard. Tiagra and 105 are much better. They are both very good makes, if the two bikes are evenly priced, make sure that u study the specs of the both of them, even do a little bit of research on spersivic parts of the bike and compare them to each, thats what i do when i buy a bike. hope this works for you , good look You need to forget the components and the brand name and just ride the bikes. Take each out for a nice, hour long test ride. Buy the one that is most comfortable for you and seems to fit your riding style the best. Go for the Trek. |
