2 months since accident and bike still not fixed? |
My bike has been in the shop for 2 months waiting repairs from an accident. The service manager keeps telling me they are waiting on parts. My insurance company has already sent them a check 1.5 months ago. I don't want to be too pushy about getting my bike repaired because they can easily tweak something to mess it up. It is beginning to seem a little fishy that every week there is a different excuse. What is a good approach? I would contact my insurance company and tell them whats going on.It's their money and they will get to the bottom of the matter for you. I had a similar problem with a body shop and my car. After I contacted the insurance company my car was fixed and fixed properly with 2 weeks. Ask them when the parts will be in, and if they say i dont know, then ask who they ordered the parts from so you can "expedite" the order, and then call that company, and if that company said "we sent the parts a month ago" Call your insurance company and tell them whats goin on that repair shop will be in trouble. |
