Should i get the bike at Target?

there are no bike shops that are close to me and my parents wont drive me far to get to one. I saw a Mongoose Crush bike at Target and it seemed pretty good. It was balanced, i could ride with no hands easily on it. Im looking for like a bike to do tricks on and stuff. Should i get it? it cost $120. Is Mongoose a good company? it comes with 4 pegs too.

For a bike to beat around the neighborhood it will do fine, just keep in mind this is not a bike really intended for stunts or trick maneuvers despite the pegs.

that bike is not built to take the abuse most kids dish out! when it breaks (and it will), Target doesn't have the facilities to repair it (nor does Wallywood or Toys R Us), and you're off to the bike shop anyway! by the time your parents are done paying the shop bill, they'll have spent as much on a toy (which will break again) as they might have on a better built bike! do whatever it takes to get them to the bike shop!

just don't do rough tricks with the bike. Mongoose is owned by Pacific, which Schwinn and GT is included. Most bike Pacific sells are made by Giant. But remember, just because these bikes have names, doesn't mean it they are all high quality equipments. Low end bikes are sold in department stores, mid to high end are sold in a bike store.

No. DO NOT EVER BUY A BIKE FROM TARGET WALMART etc. If you cant get to a bike shop, order one online. here is a great site. it has everything from entry level to super high end.
