Buing a bike, good deal? |
i just looked att a 2006 masi vincere triple for $600. it had shimano everything, ultegra rear derailer and shimano 105's everywhere else. rims spun true with no wobbles and all the gears shifted smoothly. Paint seemed fine and there were carbon forks in the front and rear, as well as a carbon fiber seat post. everything seems perfect with the bike, and the man said he has put maybe 500 miles on it, mainly coming from three century rides. I just want some sort of confirmation as to whether this is a good deal or not. I just looked at one on griagslist and the guy wanted 800 dollars for a 2008 model, and apparantly the retail for somewhere between 1200-1500 in a bike shop Yeah man I'd go for it. Pretty nice bike all in all, and it sounds yours (maybe) is in near perfect condition, and it's doubtful you'd find this bike any cheaper, or in as good condition. Sounds like a good deal, is it the right size? |
