I have a Sears made by Puch 3 speed bike. The bearings dust cover is missing from one side of the axle? |
The bearings dust cover is missing from one side of the axle. Should I be able to find this cover at a bike shop, or must I buy a new axle? If I have to buy a new axle how do I measure the current axle in order to find a replacement that will fit this 26 inch x 1 3/8 inch wheel? This is the front axle. I assume you want the little metal cover that covers the bearings, right? Puch was made by a pretty cool Austrian manufacturer, Austro-Daimler. ask a dealer to be sure |
