Why should bike helmets be banned?

Have to argue this...are there features on the bike helmets tha make them unsafe? Do they limit view? (They do work so please don't put that as an answer)
Whoever gives the most ideas that are good gets 10 points!

I'm not saying they should be banned I just want reasons they can make riding more unsafe...

Being you need to present a case against them here is the #1 flaw in helmets that do not cover the your head completely. When a helmet only covers the top half of your head there is a potential danger in a crash that the edge of the helmet can get caught on an object and cause heck injuries. A second problem with non-full face helmets is that they do not protect your face from front or side injuries.

they look stupid

they limit jaw move-ability

they can be used as a weapon

they can be used in combat

they can be used to disguise a fleeing criminal

they can mess up your hair

they disfigure cranium shape and size

not good for scalp

they can unbalance a fast riding cyclist

they waste a lot of time (finding, adjusting helmet)

they get stolen (helmet $30, fee for not having helmet $51)

how many times have they saved your life??

can cause serious permanent damage to neck and posture

can make you look sorta like an alien

can catch on fire

can be offensive to some religions and cultures

i dont see any safety draw backs. they dont limit view, unless you are using some oddball time trial one, and i dont know why anyone would ride day to day in one of those hot things. honestly, once on, i dont even notice i'm wearing it most of the time. it is a no brainer to wear one in my mind.

i downhill race i had a very serious crash(no helmet) and amazingly i did not bang my head!
but would need a ful face and those are quite necessary
but those xc ones they dont do much, unless a rock falls on your head
while your standing, those should be optional!
they dont do anything!

Does any one watch myth busters it has been proven that helmets can take damage from low to moderate but if its high they will damage u more than if u had not been wearin it!

They shouldnt be banned, they should be optional.

because more people should die?

that's like saying why shouldn't child have guns or why should we have jails.
