Suzuki SV650s or Kawasaki 500r for first bike? |
I'm going to be getting my first bike in about a week and I'm not sure which one I should get. There's so many different choices and I'm not sure if I should get the Kawasaki Ninja 500r, the Suzuki SV650/s, or maybe theres some other one I havent heard of. I would like to get a good all around bike that's fun to ride, not terrible for the insurance, and can go on a 65mph highway. Im a big fan of the Suzuki SV 650. However you mentioned 65mph. The SV will do all of 125. It is almost to much for a first bike. Buy a helmet and take a riders course. In a perfect world you would ride a ferw months on a 250 then move up but that step costs a fortune these dasy. what ever bike you decide to get I would also suggest that you take the motorcycle riders safety course your local dmv should know where it is and in most states they help you get your motorcycle lic also . If you're more than six feet tall, get the 'zuke. |
