What motorcycle size to buy? |
I want to buy my first motorcycle (used). What size should I get. I'm 5'8 and weight 155 pounds. I don't want a skinny bike but I also don't want a huge one. Any suggestions? I'm looking to spend around $2,500. And does anyone know what motorcycle insurance cost compared to a car? Thx everyone See if you can get something around 650 cc. You are a very light person, so that should have more than enough zip. Get one low enough that you can balance it comfortably flat footed, vs having to be on the balls of your feet. Gat a copy of "Proficient Motorcycling" by Hough. Might save you a spill or two. If you can afford it, get a ventilated kevlar jacket as well as a decent helmet. http://motorcycles.about.com/od/howtosta... |
