What is a full power import motorcycle? |
I have seen a GSXR 600 that is described as being a full power import motorcycle. Does this mean that you have to declare it as an import when getting insurance and would this affect the premium as opposed to a UK bike? Whats everyones views on this type of import? Some bikes are restricted in the factory so that new riders can ride them legally. A full power bike is one that has either been redistricted for a full licence rider, or was not restricted in the first place. If you are not required to ride a restricted motorcycle, then don't give it a second thought, It doesn't matter. |
