I renewed my insurance yesterday and my motorcycle got stolend today in the morning..

my motorcycle insurance was expired about 3month ago... and i just let them go... but yesterday i renewed it cause new moved invironment seems not that safe.. today in the morning my bike got stolen... is my insurance company going to cover?? i really need someone's suggestions..

They will cover it, but there will be an intense investigation involving the police and a private insurance investigator. You will be signing documents under oath. Assuming the investigation confirms no untoward activity, the claim will be paid. The bottom line is, you may have to prove the cycle was actually stolen, and that the theft occurred AFTER the coverage was bound.
There is always intense investigation of claims of theft, vandalism, windshield damage, hit and run, etc any time a claim comes in within 2 to 4 weeks of biding coverage, because of the hundreds of millions of dollars of fraudulent claims uncovered every year.

And don't get a lawyer! That is what the guilty people do, so it will send flags up all over the place and guarantee not only a fight, but an investigation so deep they will know what you had for breakfast on the second day of grade1! You ony get a lawyer if your claim is denied, and you are challenging it. A lawyer will send you a bill, but insurance companies have lawyers up the ying-yang, they are pretty careful about the legal side of things.

Hmmm... I smell insurance fraud.. and so will your adjuster. Im not saying you committed it... Im just saying when a vehicle is stolen ONE DAY after insurance is purchased.. after a lapse in coverage.. you better guarantee they are going to do an intense investigation.

They are going to want rock hard solid evidence that your vehicle was stolen after policy inception. They already know the date and time you got your policy.... im praying for you that you have a police report showing it was stolen after that? if not... yikes... its looking more fraudalent by the minute. They will likely try to get in touch with your neighbors who have the "inside scoop" of when the vehicle was last there and also get your phone call to the police department and see the date/time.

If you have nothing to hide be honest and fully cooperative with them. If you committed insurance fraud and thought youd be slick and buy insurance after... get ready to be caught and face consequences through your insurance as well as legally.

You HAVE to know how absolutely shady this looks...

You insured with them yesterday. The bike is gone today. You MIGHT have a bit of a problem with the insurer. They will definitely think that a fraud is being placed on them. If they even THINK of accusing you and not paying, GET A 'HAMBONE' LAWYER on your side. (Hambone? A damned good one!). If it has to go to court, make sure you sue them for the bike, your time, all court fees, and emotional distress. Don't threaten them with a suit. DO IT!!!!
Good Luck, Mate.

They probably didn't even get the payment processed yet. This loss will be investigated very thoroughly because of the lapse in coverage and then the bike being "stolen" immediately after trying to reinstate coverage. Good luck.

You will have to prove it was stolen when there was an active policy. You will need to have comprehensive coverage on your policy. Expect an investigation because of the lapse.

check with them thats the only way you will find out
