Old red bicycle with "The Service, England" on it - any ideas where this has come from? |
I have recently received an old red bicycle (pretty much falling to bits!) with a shield on the front under the handlebars with "The Service, England" emblazened on it. The shield has the crown above it, with a cannon in the middle in front beams of light. post office ? royal enfield had a cannon logo = " built like a gun " just a guess. woolwich arsenal ? see wikipedia " royal enfield " good luck ! |
