I have a 2007 GSXR 600. There is a red light that comes on sometimes when I turn the bike on.What does it mean

I don't have a owners manuel and dont want to take it to the dealership and have to pay for some thing stupid. Any thoughts? Oh it is the light just to the left of the temp readout but I know that it isn't over-heating.

It turns on and runs and drives and everything. The light isn't always on. Should I just change the oil and filter and see if that works? No funny noises either

My Gixxer did the same thing, I went back to the dealer and all it needed was a splash of oil and the light stopped coming on. Hopefully that's all it is. good luck

Check online for a owner's manual at the manufactur's site or talk to a live mechanic online and they should help you out. They might suggest taking it to a dealership to be on the safe side, even if it means paying for a part that can keep your bike running.

oil pressure

if the bike isn't running you have no oil pressure...

if it stays on after you start it, then you have a problem...
