Yamaha 2006 engine in a 1998 dtr 125 cc bike help with a stator problem? |
hi ive just fitted a 2006 engine in a 1998 dtr 125 yamaha and have discovered that the stator plate has had a complete revamp and on rewiring most of the wires coulors matched and it runs loverly the only problems i have now is the head light dont work and the battary dont charge and i have two white and one green and blue wire left coming from the stator whith no ware to go with them has anyone had this problem and knows how to get round it would be most help full thanks ive done the same a couple of times...just swap the complite starter coil unit from your old engine into the new one..that way you dont need to change any wiring |

It could be a "bus" type fuse or a plug in "ATC" type. Even may have a fusible link... those are just overflow tubes,not to worry they are supposed to be there. ...... |
