I cant seem to figure out why my odometer is not working on my 2006 600 gsxr? |
Just bought the bike everything was working fine, had it lowered so i could ride comfortably and now my odometer does not work all the lights come on but nothing. The whole compartment lights up. I have read the owners manual and tried the troubleshooting but that did nothing. I realize it is all electrical but is there a fuse? What else do i need to check? The bike should still be under warranty isnt it, take it to the dealer. Who ever you had to lower your bike may have put the eletric read out sencer in a bind.Try Tracing the line dont pull it hard as you trace it but/slightly to see if it hung or in a bind. The insturmental light work sepurate than the odd reader it self in may not be hook up. I once had that trouble and found it to be the cable from the front wheel to the odometer, the little rod inside the cable was not turning and had to be replaced. |
