How do you break a chain that people use to lock up their bikes?

My bike is locked up in my garage and i lost my key to it. I've tried everything to break it but I can't. How do u think I can break it?

we aren't bike theives here! actually, try a chain-cutter, a hacksaw or a metal cutting wheel. all available at your local hardware store.

yes like the previous lad i will suggest that your question seems a mite suspicious. however being the trusting citizen i am i would advise if it is a chain using large bolt cutters or if it is on of those coded think wire ones, just sit there for a few hours winding through the combinations. i did. it took me an hour to get the correct code.
