How much would it cost me? To get a copy of a key? |
I'd like to get a copy of a small key (the size of a bike lock key or padlock key). But, does anyone know roughly how much it would cost me? Also, if you know, where's a cheap place to go? Timpsons , Mr. Minute, Hardware stores but a little tip from me as I once owned a heal bar and key cutting shop. Always get a key cut as close as possible to where you live because if it doesn't work you haven't very far to take it back. We knew that if somebody lived out of the area, there was a good chance we would never see them again so we didn't worry if we had an idea it wouldn't work. Cost , I would think between 拢3 -拢4 else you have been mugged Most high streets will have a little key cutting place, it only costs about 拢3 or 拢4. under a fiver for a very small key, a shoe repair shop often cuts keys like Timpsons about 拢5 home depot or a good hardware store im guessing maybe 1.50 Go to a hardware store - it shouldn't cost more than a couple dollars. $10 costs about 拢5 shouldn't cost too much About 3 to 4 pounds. Timpson will do it for a few quid, there are branches all over the UK |
