Lock picking help!!!!!

Alright so i know the gist of how to pick locks. The only problem is that I'm not very good at it. The tension wrenches that i have used are:
paper clips
adapted coat hangars
the little things on pens
flathead screw driver

and EVERY time they either bend and ruin the wrench or they dont provide enough torque. So is it me or is it the wrench?

I've tried both the raking and picking methods

whether you believe me or not i lost the key to my bike lock and im screwed pretty much.
its a national padlock

Write National with the locks serial number they may be able to send you a key. If that does not work get a bolt cutter and cut the lock off after you buy a new lock to replace it with and get extra keys made for the lock this time. And stop playing around, you need lock picks to pick a lock the right way.
