How do you install a kryptonite lock on a women's bike? |
The manual only shows places to install on a men's bike. The manual shows how to install a men's bike. I'm not talking about locking it up, but of installing the bracket you house the lock on when riding. The bike your are referring to is a mixte or step through frame (whose original purpose was to let you ride while wearing a dress - how many women do you know that wear a dress while riding their bicycle?). It is not a woman's bike. But, you would place the lock in similar places as to a "men's" bike. Lock the frame to the front wheel and to an immovable object. Lock the frame on the seat tube through the rear wheel and to an immovable object. sometimes you can remove the front wheel and lock everything together. It really isn't that much different from how you would lock a safety framed bicycle. thats because no one would steal a womens bike. With the key. |
