What is wrong with my bike and how do i fix it? |
whenever i pedal backwards on my bike, the chain doesnt move it just hangs and whenver i stop pedalling when moving the chain doesnt move round and i think its because my derailler moves with the chain it isnt stiff Check the alignment of the derailleur and also check it chain connection for possible bents and stock up chain bushing. It sounds as though you have stiff links on your chain, although I am having difficulty visualising what you describe. I can't imagine how your chain would be able to move forward normally while riding but not back. You aren't riding a fixed gear bike or anything are you? broken Dirty cassette, or stretched chain. Time for the bike shop. |
