How do u stop a bike with only pedal brakes without poping the tires?

the tires get thin then pop

1. don't skid
2. replace tires when worn.

"The tyres get thin and then pop." You have confused me a bit there. Do you mean that your brake pads are rubbing against the tyre sidewall? They shouldn't be - they should be on the wheel rim. Could I see a picture of what you mean?

Unless when you say pedal brakes you mean a coaster brake, in which case I am even more confused. Do you mean that they are getting thin because you are doing skid-stops? The solution there is to stop doing that.

gently tap on the petals dont full blown stomp on them
