*Vultures Knob>>>Bike Pedals

The bike makes a screeching sound whenever I press the pedals.?

I think they start to be worn out. Because I don't think I can't solve that... unless of course I change the pedals.
What do you think? The sound is like a fiddle.

Sound like you brake pads are touching the rim of the wheel or the brake rotor. You will probably need to take it to a bike shop if you don't have the tools or the know-how.
If it is coming from the pedals, get them checked out by a mechanic immediately, it could be a serious crack in the crank or the pedals themselves-very unsafe.

Bison, put down the can and keep oil away from all brakes. If you have found it necessary to use oil on a brake, you are doing something seriously wrong.

Keep it in the big ring.

try oiling them. They may just need oil, I would recomend pentroil, it comes in a yellow spray can and is very good for oiling and rust prevention.

There may be something rubbing. Check your tires and possibly even your bike chain.
