How old does a child need to be to ride a real bike? |
My son is 22 months old. He is extremely kinetic. He loves movement of all kinds. He has a little scooter bike - no pedals and four wheels - that he rides around furiously. I'm considering buying him a 12" bike, but the sales person told me that he really needs to be at least 3 years old to make use of it. thats dumb...if he can ride it...get him one. Have fun!!!!!! The average age a child rides a bike is ranging from 5 to 6 years old but they can learn younger like starting at 4 years old and I think that's the younger it gets but little tike庐 toys actually have smaller miniture bikes for little toddlers that has the tendencey to ride them now good luck and I hope the baby gets to ride his bike soon! :) Yes, he is far too young. He may have excellent gross motor skills but he has yet to master the connection between those skills and cognitive skills. Toddlers have no impulse control and do not have the means to identify danger when it suddenly appears. ya i'm sure that there are realy good bikes for todlers! he ain't that young my lil sis is 2 years old well almost. and she loves riding bikes! i can give you some really good websites wher u can order bikes: What a poor salesman! You can buy him a bike whenever you want to but he may not be able to pedal until he's a little older. he should be alright...just start him out on training wheels and keep an eye on him. if he seems to be falling alot then just hold onto it for a lil while longer Mine were two when they started, first with training wheels then without. ; ) the market now has lil bikes 2 tods. look in2 it all ages. [if they know how]..support what your son's talent, he's kinda genius though. (i guess..peace!) |
