I just got home from a bike ride up this huge hill that I pedaled full speed up.
Well at the top my heart was racing super fast so I went home 5 minutes later and grabbed some water.
Latley a lot of stuff has been on my mind that is worrying me about my health even though im really healthy.
So I've been sitting here for about 2 hours now and my heart still hurts and is beating really fast and im still stressing over things.
Could this be a panic attack? You are probably scared because you think something is wrong with your heart, trust me i've had that problem before. Try calming down by listening to music or breathing in and out deep and slow. If that doesn't help I think you should go to your doctor. Yes, it could. If you relax and don't worry about it and it goes away, it's more likely than not a panic attack.
If you are still distressed by it in the coming days, see a physician to rule-out a physical cause. If there is no physical cause found by the physician, it is extremely likely to be panic or at least anxiety.
The good news is that anxiety and panic are treatable with behavior therapy and medications. Some people manage without any medication and only use therapy, others require medication to reduce symptoms. It could just be stress. That can cause a fast heart rate.. try meditating I know this is going to help you a lot. Well, relax. Sit down, be calm, take a deep breath, and say this words to yourself.
Relax (mention your name), relax,
Repeat the same words a few times. Try to relax. Relax and do not panic. Drink water, it will help you.
Now go on your knees and pray to your Father God that is in Heaven, He will hear your prayer. Do it deep from your heart. It will come out from your spirit to the Spirit of God. Remember, God is spirit, and is our Creator and our Father in Heaven. He love you. Say:
Lord Father God, I'm here at your presence to thank you for loving me and I surrender myself to you. I need your help. I ask you for your forgiveness of all my sins as I forgive those that have done wrong to me. I believe in your Son Jesus Christ. I believe that He died and was raisen from the death, and because I do believe, I declare myself save as your word says. Write my name in your book of life. Thank you Lord. Erase from my mind all the bad thoughts that are in my mind. I declare myself in good condition. That your peace reign in my mind, and in my heart, and your joy be my fortress. Thank you Lord Father God in the name of your Son Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
Read the Psalm. David went through a lot of trouble but God set him free because of His love for him. Also the word of the Lord will help you to restore your mind. The word of the Lord is like water, will clean your mind from bad thoughts.Believe me, it is true.
It happens to me. I was lost once. I was driving my car, and I took the wrong direction and it was after midnight. It was dark, no houses at all, just tall grass, and the road. I started to pray to God to help me to find the way out. Finally, I found the right road but I was very far away, so I got home after 1:00 a. m. But when I got to my house all what I had in my mind, were those moments, me driving to an empty road just with tall grass at the sides of the road. I could not get it out of my mind. So, I bend my knees and I pray for the Lord to take those bad thoughts our of my mind, which I could not do it by myself, and it worked. Thank to God. But, I read the Bible and go to Church. I guess that help me a lot.
I know for sure that after you prayer, it will help you a lot. Every time you go out ask God for His protection. He is real and faitfull to His word and to us when we look for Him.
