60 Year old fell off bike, claims to have a hurt liver and ribs...? |
She landed with her whole bike's weight onto mine and apparently my bikes pedal pushed into her liver. Could this be the cause of liver bruising, or rib breaking? as of now, she can walk around, but can't really sit or lay down. help? doctor check is of course an inevidable option, but we need to know if it's truly something to worry about. thanks in advance. Yes, that could have happened to her. You have to remember, the older you get, the easier it is to get hurt. I hope she is not hurt though. My advice is to go to the emergency room as soon as possible. She could have one or more fractures. This is something to worry about. The older we get the more careful that we have to be about internal injuries and bleeding. U need t take her to the doc asap. she'll have to get and ultrasound i bet. Its not to good so take care and go to the doc!!! I may be 12 but i know things. |
