Motorcycle clutch repair question? |
It will be odvious this is my first bike clutch! I am working on a 84 honda nighthawk 700. When I removed the clutch cover to begin diassembling the clutch there was quite a bit of oil in the case. The plates even seemd to be fairly saturated with engine oil. Is this normal? It there supposed to be oil inside the clutch case. Yes there should be oil. well im not an expert, but it is usually normal to see oil all over your bike. i wouldnt worry about it but if you feel like there is a big problem, visit your local dirtbike store and they can make sure that nothing is wrong even though it is an older bike. i have a 2stroke honda 125 and honda cr80r. and there is oil all over. i hope this helped. |

Hey Matthew~ K5 has a hydraulic disk brake in front, thicker white stripe on the tank (stripe that goes through the letter O) & a chrome grab rail. Is the paint original? Check out colors list... For commuting, a rack trunk with a change of clothes, lunch, pump, tubes and patch kit, basic tools (allen wrenches, small screwdrivers), reflective vest and leg bands in case i have to work after ... I had my father to repair my bike. She had her boss to attend the meeting for her. ...Replace the tire no matter what. good tires are important. Worn or cut tires are just asking for more flats. As for responsibility, you could ask the shop to replace it but it they don't y... ive got 1000's of manuals but last time i sorted a manual for another answer asker,email it the lot...i didnt even get a thank you,sorry but ill not be doing it again...search google for cr80.... Clean out the fule tank , change the spark plugs , change the air filter , and get a new battery for starters that should get the bike started if that does it take it on a long road trip for about ... I'm still old school and use a frame pump. Flats are inevitable, but relatively few and far between. If I lose a few minutes by using a pump, it's no big deal. Pumps are reliable and you... Hope you don't find any organization or person to "fix your car" for you. People like you make me sick! ... |
