Need help repairing my '75 Yamaha 175 Enduro Idler gear? |
About a year ago, a friend of mine tried out my bike. He kickstarted it too rough which caused a gear inside the crankcase to break. When I opened up the crankcase, I noticed everything wasn't damaged. However when I looked at the Idler gear, it was loose and was moving back and forth. At this point I'm stuck because the gear is 1/2 way behind the clutch plate and I dont know what to do next. If anyone could help me, I would greaty appreciate it!! Forgot to mention, the bike wont start anymore!! Take it to the shop or the place that you bought it from, try turning it on and off and try pushing the clutch foreward. But i highly recomend taking it to the shop, because you don't want to mess it up by accident. |
