How to repair non starting starter motor?

when i press start on my motorbike it just clicks sometimes it turns over slightly but it sounds seized as the bikes been off round a few years

It could be:
weak battery/ old battery. - calciumated cells, low in acid, flat . Charge or replace

Check for bad corroded/ loose connections on the battery, solinod and starter motor.

If you havea kick started and the engine start on tht, then its only a starter problem. You can also check by turning the crank.

It may not be the starter motor - It may be a flat battery or partially seized engine. Take the spark plugs out & try squirting a bit of WD40 into the cylinders & moving the bike whilst in gear to free up the latter.

first make sur your battery is good then pull the spark plugs and fill with marvel mystery oil. let sit for about 3 days put it in gear and turn the motor over by turning the rear wheel. then crank it.

firstly remove the sparkplug and pour a little diesel down the hole...it may not be the starter at fault,the engine may be tight...stick it it first and gently rock it too and fro...what type of bike is it??
