What is the best entry-level touring bike? |
I'm looking for a touring bicycle to do the transamerica ride with and have a budget of approx 拢500, i've found a couple by makes such as Dawes but was wondering if anyone had bikes that they would particularly recommend? Try looking at the Edinburgh bicycle,com site and look at the Revolution country Traveller. For about 拢400 you get a good bike with lots of accessories. www.edinburghbicycle.com I have a Surly Long Haul Trucker, and I swear by this beast. I have done about 10,000 miles of loaded touring with this bike with as much as 70 lb loaded on it.
