BMX are easier to start of with becaus there alot lighter than MTBs so you can jump easier and do tricks easier. You should get a norco BMX or an eastern. I have got the norco rev its the best bike...

turn your bike upside down and spin the wheel. if it seems to be spinning straight, the dent didnt affect if. but if its spinning crooked, you might want to havve it repaired.
