How come sportbike riders are allways surprised when I wave?

gues your not used ta ol school chopper riders being friendly.Hell I will even ride with you. Just gotta wate for me in the twisties, my bikes got 40 degrees of rake and a ten over front end with no front brake

I think its because most of them are youngsters who only know other crotch rocketeers.
I got them dual discs up front so, if we ever share a road, would you mind leading? ; ^ )

Don't find that an issue around here, I get less waves from the BMW and Goldwingers than I do from sportbike riders.

I did see the first BMW rider today that did not have a white helmet on!!! It was color matched to the BMW (redish) - I was beginning to think all BMW riders were required by some code to only wear white helmets.

I've seen lots of riders on Harleys wave, but very few on motorcycles of any brand who are riding without helmet and eye protection. You know who else deosn't wave? Scooter riders. Believe it or not, I saw one the other day who was talking on a cell phone while riding! I hope the passenger on the back was helping watch traffic! It's nice to two wheeled comraderie crossing the brand barriers. Keep on surprising us!

none, waves are normal. did you chop it yourself. thats where I'm headed (I'm finishing school this next year then getting my apprenticveship)
