How To Title a Homemade Motorcycle In Indiana?

I have an 80's Honda CB750 engine and bill of sale (no title) and was thinking of buying a new chopper/bobber frame for it and building my own bike. But, how do i title it with no title for the engine? I know i can get the frame titled okay with all the proper documents from the supplier, but the engine? It has all the numbers still stamped on the engine, do they just use that?

In Virginia, I called them DMV and asked what I needed (you should do the same). I filled out the paper work for a Special Construction title. I had to submit a bill of sale for all the major parts (frame, engine, tranny, front end if you don't build it yourself, etc). Then they came to my house and inspected it. The whole process took a few months. It sucked. Insuring a custom bike will suck even more.

go to your local DMV give them the Vin numbers off the fram you have tell them you want to apply for a title also ask them about the if you are required to file for a recostruction Title .
