Big boy on a small bike comfortable? |
I wanna gsxr, only thing im worried bout is will it be comfortable. Iv never been on a sportbike, or any bike. only thang is im a big boy. Im 280lbs, 5'11" and dont want no go out and buy one and not like the way it sits. and i dont wanna cruiser really. What yall think 1. Go to a dealer, and sit on a bunch of bikes, this is the only way to be sure. Remember, stay on the bike, as it you were riding, at least 5 minutes, if not longer. If you're not 100% comfortable, walk away; the showroom is going to be a lot easier than battling leg cramps while lane splitting ( personal experience, nearly crashed ) Sounds like you need a cruiser or a chopper. I cant really think of a sportbike that would be comfortable for you. But a nice wide glide or fatboy would be perfect. I have seen a Guy larger than You on a Gixxer and No, it didn't look comfortable. Those bikes aren't made to be comfortable, they are made to be fast. I think everyone is uncomfortable on a GSXR, so you'll be in good company. |

Looks isn't everything, especially when it comes to bicycles. Well, from the looks of it, Micargi bikes are at about the same level as the typical Walmart bike. Even their carbon fiber bike...
