What's the difference between BMX Bikes, Freestyle bikes, and Cruiser bikes? Are there any more types of bikes BMX (Bicycle Motocross) is a dirt track style bike, used just like regular Motocross. Up and down ramps, jumps and pits in the laid out course. I am a bmx rider and I can tell you what are the differences. BMX are 20" bikes for short dirt racing so they're usually light, Freestyle are 20" bikes for air and ground tricks so they tend to be built a little tougher and have pegs and stem mods to help with tricks, cruisers are 24" bikes for longer distances usually off road. there are ALOT of types of bike |
