If i ride my dirt bike on the side walk would that be illeagal?

i want to buy just a little dirt bike just to ride around

On the side walk, yes it is illegal.

BUT if it is under 50cc you can ride it on the side of the road and it isn't illegal (it is considered by law a toy still) so that would have to be a small dirt bike though (ex pitbike)

Anything else you need to get it licenced so you'd need the lights blinkers and plates ect.

double ilegal, 1st your riding a motorized vech w/out a lic, then your on a sidewalk endangering civilians. BIG, BIG fines. you dont even want to know

Yes, the side walk is owned by the city.
Just stick to the streets and don't get caught, that's what I always do. =)
