How good does it feel to you?

I had Polio at age 5. Since then, I can't use my right arm or much of my left arm. My left hand I can use.

I would like you to tell me how good it feels to:

Reach out your arms and hug someone you love

Pick up and hold a baby

Applaud at a play or concert

Wave to someone with your arms up

Hold someone's face in your hands

Hold your head

Climb a tree

Ride a bike

Raise your hand in class when you know the answer

Do a hand stand

Play a pinball machine

Raise your fists over your head in victory

Fold your hands to pray

I think I didn't phrase my question right. I wanted to know what these things feel like to YOU. What feeling do they give you?

Wow. Thanks for the perspective...
Hugs are sheer joy to me.
Holding babies makes me feel nervous... I'm afraid I'm going to drop them.
I'm rarely on the applauding side of the concert or play... it's a feeling of pride and happiness, knowing that people are so talented... and if I was in the concert, the same applause gives me a sense of validation and acknowledgment for my abilities.
I've never thought about how it feels to wave.
Holding someone's face is comforting.
Holding my head is calming.
Climbing a tree is nerve-wracking... I'm afraid I'll fall out again.
Riding a bike is my favorite way of destressing my brain.
Raising my hand in class is a very self-satisfied action... it's basically saying "Yes! I know this one!"
Doing a hand stand... well, I can't do them. They dislocate my right shoulder.
Pinball is amazing...
The victory pump is... victorious. Sorry how vague that is. It's the feeling of "I did this right, and I want people to know it."

Don't be sorry for what God has given you. You must know that normal people are sometimes wicked that they don't appreciate what they have been blessed with. . . For me, it doesn't really matter how you look like, it doesn't make that big a difference. And I want to express my appreciation for you because I see you long too much to "fold your hands in prayer". You are blessed and loved!

arms get tired easily after alot of work, so your actually lucky. somone once said to me that i should be greatful for my poblems as they can be my blessings. if you really think about it not having good arms has made you more of a fighter and more determined. spirit and determination are very special qualities that almost all of us wish we had.

I would first like to thank you. You have opened my eye's to something I presumed was my right to have. Thank you for opening my eye's are reminding me that it isn't a right to have but a great privilege.

Quit whining.
While having permanent damage from polio can't be fun, you certainly aren't the most disabled person alive.
There are people who have it much worse off than you.

Now go make something of your life.

Sounds inspiring!
