Gas treatment safe for motorcycles? |
Are there any products on the market like gas treatment or water remover, gunk remover, anything that can be safely used for a Honda 250 Helix Scooter? I'm wanting to prevent rain/water from getting in the tank. I bought a large sized cover for my bike, but I know it doesn't keep all of the water off. Any help is appreciated. Yes there is. Get some stuff called "SeaFoam". It comes in a can and you use 1oz. per gallon of gas. This stuff works really well. I use it all the time. You can buy it at most auto parts stores and Wal-Mart also carries it. you shouldn't worry about it as the tank seals will work for this, but if you are concerned then add some fuel stabilizer ( available at aout parts stores ) or get a better cover. you could also add a small tarp on top of the cover or a small plastic sheet below it.. get real.....what happens when you ride it in the rain? |
