My Brand New 2008 Scooter is leaking gas & battery isn't staying charged!!

My Scooter (150cc Touring Deluxe Moped TK150T-H) is brand new 2008. I've only had/drove it for a week now and haven't put over 130 miles on it. Last night it wouldn't start because now all of a sudden the battery doesn't want to stay charged and I also noticed the gas was leaking. This morning all the gas had leaked out. So my scooter is leaking gas and the battery isn't staying charged. It's brand new!! I don't understand what's wrong with it and why it's already acting up. Please Help!!

Check the battery when the bike is off. It should ready 12-12.5 volts. If its under that your battery has a bad cell and won't charge properly. If that's OK, start the bike and the voltage should go up to 13-14.5 volts. If it stays the same as before, your charging system is not working, which means you need to work on the regulator or alternator.

I had a problem with my petcock, it was leaking. i actually squeezed it with some pliers, so i could ride.

Is it made in CH== we brought a ATV and it wouldn't start wiring issues> Chocks leak it was a mess> Finally sent it back> Buy 1 local at least you can get it fixed> Contact the the seller or dealer as it might only have a 30 warranty> Sent it back> Hope you paid you it with a credit card if so contact the card comp and see there policy on returns and crediting your card back>Good luck>

take it back to where you bought it its under warranty
