I am building up a new "kick"/non-motor scooter and was wondering what some good parts to put onto it would be

e.g. what wheels, grips, griptape, bearings...
brand names/model types would be much appriciated...thanks

Honestly, I would just get a bike. A bike is a lot easier to ride than a scooter, and will get you there faster. You could probably find a cheap and decent bike on ebay, craigslist or freecycle...

I would say micros begginging brand is about the same as the razor a2.both are very nice an durable. good for tricks. i woud choose the razor a2 for 45 dollars then a 80 dollar micro.
