Can someone give me a suggestion for a mountain bike? |
I have an old Magna Equator (which I later found out was put on recall in 2000, the same year I bought it) and need a newer, better bike. go down to your local bike shop and tell them your requirement. they should be happy to help you. good luck! Try your local bike shop. |

What are you trying to accomplish? You can put hybrid TIRES on mountain bike WHEELS easily enough, presuming you intend to ride more on the road than off. No need to replace the entire wheel. ...craiglist, ebay. or garrage sale..might as well make some money selling other stuff lying around the house. Good luck! ...Save yourself some money get one already built. ...I've always kinda liked the sheen that my own blood seems to give to my bike. Or the blood of my competitors. ;o) Pledge would be fine, but a more durable car wax or synthetic polish wou... Its too small when you climb & cant stretch your torso out to spread the weight. And if you're sitting upright when riding flats. And, tho' you should be able to straddle over the top... It will perform well on flat surfaces especially if you can lock out the suspension. It won't be as good as a road bike on the road of course but if you are going to ride on the road to get to... Good brands include: Kona Cannondale Specialized Giant Mongoose (not the walmart ones) Haros are pretty nice Norco im not exactly sure what the second question is asking, it's hard... With the money(and time to find the right sizes) you're gonna have to spend on new parts for the bike, you're better off just getting a new one(a bike shop quality bike), or getting a top... |
