Calories burt on an 8 mile back road bike ride?

if i ride a four mile bike ride to a point, take a 10 min break and then ride another 4mile bike ride back to my house. this is all on dirt roads and up and down hills. how many calories would i burn?

Go to bicycling.com and click on the training tab. There is a calorie calculator there. Its results are usually very close to the numbers reported by heart rate monitors that display calories burned.

HTH

Depends on how much you weigh and how big the hill and how fast you went.

I will take an off the top of my head guess and say 350-450 calories? I think speed and intensity will make this vary.
