Bicycle Tire Question? |
I have a Schwinn Mid-Town and I would like to put 26.1.10 or 26.1.0 tires in it. Where can I find a rim that will accomadate both bike and tire? About how much will it be? http://pricepoint.com has them, about $150 for the pair of rims... or you could get a wheelset for about $250 but then you'd have to go to 8 speed which would require a new rear derailleur, a new shifter, and a frame realignment. |

First of all the schwinn is a aluminum fram and the norco is hi-ten steel which dosnt make much diffrence other than the norco is a little lighter and the price, thats pretty much all thats diffren... I think Giant could offer something in the same price range. I don't usually ride mountain but I had a Boulder SE a few years ago that was pretty nice for the price. ...It all comes from China.........only the names had been changed. ... |
