No insurance ticket in calfornia?

i have car insurance with triple a for my truck... but i was cited for no insurance while driving my scooter. if i can prove i just bought the scooter will that release my ticket.... dont insurance poolicies state u have 10 days to report a new vehicle ??? any way to get out of this ticket

Read your insurance policy. There may be a clause regarding new vehicle aquisitions. If so, it may also be restricted to the same class already insured. Call your agent, but it is possible your truck insurance has no provision to extend to new scooter, motorcycles, trailers, etc.

AAA insurance policies state you have 30 days to add a new vehicle to your policy.

I would add the scooter, take your contract or bill of sale along with your policy to court.
