Anyway to make a 4 stroke, 50cc scooter faster?

I have a chinese made 4 stroke 50cc scooter... I think the brand is Kimimoto or something like that... I was wondering if there were any safe things to do or parts that would make it have faster acceleration and/or higher top speed... any help is appreciated.. thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have two choices.

First Choice: Throw lots of money at it for marginal gains. Get in this order a big bore kit, larger carburetor, tuned exhaust, change the gearing. With this you may get an additional 10 to 15 MPH from it.

Second Choice: Sell this scooter. Put the money from the sale towards something with a larger engine. Something with at least 150CC.

The cheapest/easiest way is to change the exhaust followed by re tunning the carbs (Jets on some versions and chip programing on EFI versions)
