Scooter or electric wheel chair? |
I have a friend that is handicapped and I'm trying to obtain a means for her to get around at little or no cost. I called the scooter store buy they only take insurance or medicare. She only has a gold card though Harris County Hospital District here in Houston, Tx. Anyone from this area or any recommendations? Thank you. Try calling local non-profit organizations that are mobility specialists. They can generally get a free or reduced price chair for those that qualify. Here's one in Houston. |
