Motorcycle (sport bike) question? |
ok so I really want to learn to ride a crotch rocket. I'm 5'4" and 120lbs. I just want some advice on a good starter bike. I'm looking to stay under 6,000$. I have looked at the Kawasaki ninja 250 and it seems like a good bike but I wanted some other opinions. I've also looked at the ninja 650 but was worried it would be to big and or heavy for me. If any one has owned or ridden either of these I would like your opinion. Thanks! I'm also looking for either a black or lime green! Hope this info helps! Take the safety class first, in there you will be trained on 250s and after you get the license then go for a test drive that is the only way you will know if you want the 250 or higher but remember take the class first. I agre that Kawasaki makes a great bike, I have ridden for many years, currently on a 2001 Busa GSX1300R Limited Edition Weight isnt a factor, a 250 weighs like 50 lbs. less than the average 600. either of those would be a great option, you might also want to lok at some nice used 600's I would get the 650. Your going to learn how to ride a 250 quick, and once you do, you're just going to want the extra power. stay with the Kawasaki as its rated a excelent bike and great for begginers. You couldnt have picked a better bike for what you described! good choice. You are my daughters size and she is really happy with her 250 ninja i say hold off on buying the ninja and take a motorcycle training course which are three days long and they have you learn on 300's. |
