Sport Bike front sprocket rattling and loss of clutch? |
I have a 1997 GSXR 600 and i just replaced my front sprocket and now i have lost all power in my clutch and my gears rattle when engaged. The clutch is completely gone and i am now stuck. Any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated. Replace the clutch plates. When you pull it apart, you'll see what needs replacement. Maybe an over-simplified answer, but be sure to look carefully at the new sprocket to see that the splines are lined up properly with the primary shaft coming out of the engine and that the screws are tight on the sprocket. also make sure that the sprocket is not on backwards but it sounds like you have a broken clutch disk |
