Looking for a street bike? |
My husband is getting rid of his car and looking for a cheap motorcycle. He prefers street bikes. We have been looking around and can't find much so I'm asking for your help. He has about $1000.00 so he knows he isn't going to get something great but just something that runs decent and the looks really doesn't matter. We live in Arnold Missouri. It would be great to find something close but he is willing to drive to get it. Thanks for your help. I would check on Ebay Motors... go to the motorcycle section and see what's for sale nearby. Also, find out where all your local dealerships are, and see what they have for sale. This time of year is good for finding good deals. Just do some research, you'll find something! I found one for 1100 in Kirksville, Mo at the Honda shop, was just there today and there are none right now, you just have to be n theright place at the right time. You might check craigs list. A buddy of mine jsut picked up a kawasaki 250 for 50 bucks because the guy that had it couldnt figure out how to make it run right. All it needed was a clutch cable and the carb cleaned out. Is he sure he wants to not have a car? Winter will be rough on him. You might try Columbia, they have some bike shops there. The problem is bikes are selling like hotcakes with gas prices as they are. Im guessing thats his reason for wanting one. Try craigslist. you can search your area for a bike. |
